What are Prep stations used for and how do I assign them to products?

Prep stations decide where to send items on a ticket and they are assigned individually.

What are prep stations?

Prep stations are assigned to menu items to tell the software where to send the item. If a customer orders a pizza, a burger, and a beer, we are going to want the items to print only to where they are necessary, the bartender does not need to see the pizza and the chef does not need to see the beer.

How to assign items to prep stations:

1. Log into the management website and locate the "Vendors" button on the left side of the screen.

2. This will bring up all of the vendors associated with this venue. By clicking the three vertical dots on the right side of any vendor site you can add prep station names. 1

3. Click "Prep Stations" on the drop down and a pop up will appear with a button that says "Add Prep Station" in the top right corner. This will bring up another pop-up window that allows you to name however many prep stations you'd like to have available. 2

*The default station is where the tickets will print with this item if it is unable to print to its assigned station for any reason.*

4. Click the "Live Now" button on the left side of the screen, and click the event associated with the date you'd like to implement the prep stations on. 3

5. Locate the "Menu" tab on the far right of the next screen. This will house all of the menu items for every vendor and vendor site. By clicking the pencil icon to the right of any item you can assign it to its appropriate prep station. 4

* the Operations Website will have a drop down that says "All Prep Stations" where any device can be switched to the prep station it belongs to or it can remain under all to get every order. *6-1
