This article will explain how to apply a discount code to the total of a cart.

1. Add all items to your cart as per the normal process.
2. Once all items have been added to the cart, and you are ready to check out, press "view cart" button. 
3. On the following screen, there will be a section under the cart items that says, "Enter your Promo Code". This is where the customer will enter the code given to them.
4. After entering the code, the customer will press "apply", which will cause the system to bring up the discount percentage and dollar amount. 
*Customer must press "apply" before proceeding or the discount code will not work*
5. Press the "Proceed to Checkout" button and continue through the prompts as usual.
