How to set Pre-Orders and Scheduled Orders within a Vendor Site

The Management app allows you to create Pre-Orders and set Scheduled Ordering within a Vendor Site

1. Click on the Vendors tab

2. Click on the pencil icon to the right of the Vendor Site that you wish to set Pre-Ordering and Scheduled Ordering

3. Click Next on the Vendor Site Info page

Pre-Orders: Allows customers to place orders hours or even days before the actual event. When the pre-order ends and the event starts the pre-orders will move into the New column of the Operations app. To turn on a pre-order for a Vendor Site follow the steps below

4. Fill out the fields for Pre-Order Information. 

Here is an explanation of each field:

• Pre-orders Toggle: Toggle on to allow pre-orders at a Vendor Site
• Max number of pre-orders: Allows you to set a max number of orders that will be allowed to be placed in a given pre-order

Scheduled Orders: Allows customers to schedule their orders for a time other than the present; ex: customer places an order at present time to be picked up 30 minutes from the present time. To turn on scheduled ordering follow the steps below

5. Fill out the fields for Scheduled Order Information

Here is an explanation of each field:

• Scheduled order allowed Toggle: Toggle on to allow scheduled orders at a Vendor Site
• Scheduled order cut over: The number of minutes before the scheduled order time that the order should move from "Scheduled" to "New"
• Scheduled order window length: The length of each order window in minutes
• Max number of orders per window: The maximum numbers of orders per window
• Max number of pre-orders per window: The maximum number of pre-orders per window
• Number of windows to allow pre-orders: The number of scheduled order windows in which to allow pre-orders to be placed

Note: Pre-ordering can be turned on without scheduled ordering. Scheduled ordering can also be turned on without pre-ordering. They can both be turned on and active at the same time

6. Once the pre-order and/or scheduled order fields are filled out click the Save button in the bottom right if editing an already created Vendor Site or Add button in the bottom right if creating a new Vendor Site
